Samsung's Galaxy A-series is no stranger to discounts and it needs some now more than ever as competition in the mid-range heats up.

Un-disputed, 22 hours ago6 years of os update with 6gb ram and 8gb ram. 🤡 12 GB RAM variant is avaible too. Last years S24 have also 8 GB RAM (only 8 GB RAM) and have 7 years of OS updates, while A55 and A56 avaible with 12 GB RAM.

            The A56 could be a good midrange phone,with a massive discount, not at this crazy price,of course
            but with 6 years of software updates and with no SD card expansion available anymore,the only version which makes sense to buy is the 256 GB...

They especially shouldn't be forcing the full resolution for selfies, as nobody needs 32MP or 50MP selfies (though it would be nice to provide that as an *option*).

                        Take my country, for example (which I will not name here). People say, "I don't have enough money to make a living," yet those who complain the loudest often own an iPhone, drive a new car, and enjoy other luxuries.

                        Despite its high price, the iPhone remains the best-selling phone in the world. In India (which is not the country I live in), iPhone sales continue to rise.

                        Samsung does the same with the phone prices. And succeeds.

                                  Hugo, 16 Mar 2025For this price they should also have 12 gb ram as base.Or at least they can give us 512GB storage, since they're the one who have a "genius" idea to remove the microSD support on these phones and left user stuck with "only" 256GB of storage. And no, portable SSD and cloud storage are NOT good options.

                                        Krishna , 16 Mar 2025It's better to buy nothing 3a pro instead of a36It's only a grey market phone in some countries. No local support/warranty/service centers. At least import-only Pocos are recognized by local Xiaomi shops.
