According to whose data, Apple's? There's far too much Samsung & Apple bias/favoritism on this site. They both are leagues behind some of the other innovative brands banned from the US. To be honest, I value the reviews & updates. However, the Samsung & Apple bias is a bit much. We all know they both suck!

        Just saying it again, people, there are some target demographics and target market that need/want/prioritize iOS over anything else or at least, the tech nerds/communities must-list of features (just like those who prefer 3D face unlock+Fingerprint solution over smaller punch hole, MicroSDXC card support over beast of a performance, and so on). As long it works for them, it's enough for them, so I can understand why this happened and displeased people here due to 16e skewed too-high of a price.

          As someone who had iPhone XR, I understand people. Also 1 camera isn't necessarily bad. You just don't think about it whether you want wide or regular shot, you just snap it. No fiddling and thinking. It was simpler times compared to 3 cameras on my S23 Ultra now and not in a bad way...

            Sad day for humanity.

              This phone is 300 dollars overpriced. It is crazy that people will but this excuse of a phone over an One plus 13.

                  That's your decision to miss out on useful features, but that's exactly what $100-200 phones are for, this device at $600 should offer those features to justify the price. No, Apple "Intelligence" is not enough.

They're not always great, but they can occasionally produce really good sensors. Motorola's camera processing is still not great at times, so it might not make the OV64B sensor shine as well as it should, but the processing has nonetheless improved enough that it takes mostly great pictures.

                    As for the rest, you're right unfortunately. The Edge 60 and Edge 60 Neo losing their telephotos would be a serious blow to their value proposition, but quite some rumours are claiming this so it's sadly likely to be true.

                      In my country,15 and 16 sell better.It seems like consumers are making smart choices, but it's all Apple marketing.Apple announced the 16e as a clearance sale on older devices.

                          Motorola uses nasty 13MP 1/3" superwide. Even worse the fact is OV sensor.
                          DNG + lightroom cannot help. Too garbage. Omnivision is inferior to even samsung, just because founders are chinese ( company was founded in USA) , ppl here defend as it was on pair with sony semicon

                          Edge 60 does not have 73mm cam.like edge 50.
                          Surely 60 neo will be losing as well.

                          I agree that phones between €400 - 650 could at least give a 1/2.8" 60mm. Majority won't.

The market is so stale and stagnant that Samsung's ALoP lenses and big periscope modules; and Huawei's Mate XT Ultimate are the only things I've been majorly excited about for a while. Otherwise, phones are not doing enough to be exciting, even with most Chinese flagships that get big upgrades every generation (unless you're Xiaomi, in which case only your Ultra phone gets upgrades at all).

                              Look neither of us is going to be able to speak for every individual, and at this scale the reasons are going to be to numerous to consider. That said, a large number of these customers will be wanting an iPhone, not a smartphone, an iPhone specifically. I’d be willing to bet a more common reason for that will be to access iOS and the features they are familiar with vs simply wanting the logo.

                              Some of theses customer’s may not be able to put a name to those features or even the operating system itself but they will be familiar with how they work. Remember iPhones have been around for the better part of two decades now, and for many 16e customers, this likely won’t be their first.

                                      Those statistics this website publishes.

                                      Brands themselves do not inform how much each model.has sold, the total amount of all them.

                                        In the first world countries what sells is the combination of brand name, user experience and marketing it doesn't matter what reviews say, regular people who have money doesn't care about performance or value. See the sales of Samsung or Apple in these countries they are not going to go away
