      DaFink, 11 hours agoGet your act together Samsung, or scale One Ui back to some... moreIt actually works quite well, with even Google getting over it and started integrating Samsung's apps with Gemini. And it will get better. Gemini is still an incipient product.

            Samsung are in a league of their own as far as UX and features are concerned now. It's just a shame they've basically done nothing with cameras for 3 years now.

              Fazliddin1, 10 hours agoLet's not talk about HyperOSXiaomi doesnt sell their phones on software alone like Samsung does. Samsung's skimping out on the ONE thing they're gambling on/marketing their phones on, software. "We don't need hardware we have software!" "All a user needs is a good software experience!". All that and even Oppo phones update faster than Samsung Ultras.

                will s25 get any updates anymore or have they moved it to quarterly
                i mean even security ONLY updates seem to be way behind other phones, not even speaking of newer quality build updates...
                Samsung is just all over the place!!!

                                      I would suggest holding off updating, it will probably going to be a buggy mess considering the time it took them. I even completely disabled updates on my S24 plus, everything is working fine and battery is amazing, no need to update! (Snapdragon version)

                                        Hmm, 11 hours agoNot sure what you mean. Using OneUI 7 has been amazingly sm... moreIt's nothing to do with the optimisation for me, its very stable on that front. No this is to do with the integration of certain features, especially on the Ai front.

                                        For example, and please bear with me here this may take some explaining. I have been trying to make use of Gemini now that it is the default assistant. The problem is that with the Google Workspace extension enabled Gemini will not interact with either Samsung Calendar or reminders.

                                        However, if you disable that extension then Gemini will work those Samsung apps, but not with Gmail. Now I could go all in and just use all Google apps, but I prefer Samsung's calendar app to Googles own, and Samsung Reminders blows Google Tasks out of the water for functionality.

                                        it's not a deal breaker, but it can be annoying. I can't seem to configure this device into a workflow i am happy with.
