19 March 2025
Apple reportedly though of leaving out the USB-C port from the iPhone 17 Air, but didn't because it was worried that the European Commission wouldn't approve.

In 2027, most companies will start reming their USB C port, and there will be that one fanboy that gonna said "Wired charging are so outdated! Just move on and embrace wireless charging." "We left cable in 2025, just move on."
Yeah, that sounds like an a---ole response that sometimes might make us mad, but that's what we feel when 3.5mm jack and SD card slot got removed.

EU should just stop themselves. First forcing type c, to let Apple stop using it anyway. Seriously don't hope it will go through!

So everyone need to buy the wireless charging plate that is basically new charger.
So no charger in the box cause everyone have a charger anyways. Now you need a charger cause nobody have the wireless plate

All these regulation people in the governments prove time and time again how useless they are or how little they can think with their heads.

Also you need like one wireless charger at home, one at your car, one at work and one in with you when you roam around to charge from power bank. So for one person there is needed like 3-4 of these chargers that use to be only a cable

This greedy company is trying to make everything proprietary since ever, also is trying to make a standard out of their garbage ports since ever, so to ask for money from manufactures. Well nobody cared about their ports so it never worked for them, so yeah it is understandable that they will get rid of the ports if only for being against the standards. What's clear is? Hello small short life batteries. They probably prepare for battery replacing law, so buckle up fans for 200 euros battery replacements every year (apple math) cause well wireless charging will not be gentle to the unit, and who said they want it too?
