EU says port-less devices are okay, opening the door for Apple

Apple reportedly though of leaving out the USB-C port from the iPhone 17 Air, but didn't because it was worried that the European Commission wouldn't approve.

        And it's failed. Remember Meizu Zero.
        No I don't want a portless phones to be mainstream.
        Nowadays almost all phones didn't have sd card slot and headphone. Therefore exist USB c male portable ssd and portable storage devices. And also dongle and hi res audio dongle so we can still use wired earphone. And sd card reader type c is also exist. We didn't really lose this two important features on smartphones and we can still connect our phones to pc.
        Without charging phone. You lose all these mandatory features. Being holeless isn't appealing and not functional. No longer fast charging. All wireless charging are super slow compared to what we already have with wired. You can't charger your phone less than 1 hour without getting overheat. Heat is not good for your phone's longevity.
        Apple's idea will ruin everything. Trust me. This is not the idea of Steve Jobs. It's idea of greedy evil company.
        You all can cancel this company if you want. If you're not, then you're all screwed.

          I don't care about Apple anymore

            Stupid decision. They keep ruining phones. Please cancel this company. Apple and the greedy nature.

I just don't even bother connecting an iphone to pc it will ask fkn 10 times allow? allow ?and STILL it fkn doesn't work .. u plug android into pc bam straight offers folder quick drag n drop bum DONE..

                  Because of this EU ruling? The Next iPhone will become a Port-less Device. Giving way for a IP69 iPhone. And apple will claim. "We removed the Port on the iPhone" so the cables will be removed from the box because we care for the environment. But we also improved the wireless charging capability of the iPhone". And the next thing we know? Android followed apple.

A brand i still respect and want to support, but a brand that now does not need customer support anymore. NOKIA is sadly gone for good (or well, for who knows how long) from the consumer market. But they were something else. this wannabe's that call them selves "tech giants" are not even at the smallest toe aof the footprint of what nokia was. A brand of innovation with no compromise. A brand that holds more patents in mobility space then crapple will ever dream of. This people ment business and were ahead of anything any brand could even grasp, so why, why would they go down so fast if not by will of others? NOKIA invested money in research, capple and samesung invested them into marketing and defaming nokia as a whole so they with their less then mediocre devices can stand tall. At the end? Well people are to blame for nokia demise, a company can influence, manipulate and talk marketing but it cannot bring the actual real giant down without the help of the ignorant.
                      What i want to say here, is that NOKIA went away not because of one factor, or 2 but because of multiple factors, and not one of this factors is called "innovation" or "quality" delivered by other brands, not even close.

                          Eventually Android will follow.
                          Although its possible to have a wired interface without ports using open magnetic connectors but its far more risky due to sweat and liquid risk.

                          If they'd just let Nokia remain as it was, there'd be a choice in the market. Now we all endure this rubbish, with no choice.

                            Oh man, I would love to have my iPhone 19 Pro Ultra MAX HS² in my wireless charging pad of my car whilest running Apple CarPlay and dropping out of navigating every 10 minutes because the phone overheats. Bright future to come, my friends!

                                        I think the device should be slimmer than the USB-C port for a "port-less" phone to logically make any sense.
