Google announces Pixel 9a with Tensor G4

The Pixel A-series is getting too expensive, in that way it barely justifies its price when you can also get a Pixel 8 pro for more or less the same price with better looks and internals. But Pixel phones do get their first price drop fairly quickly after launch.

        There's no been greater time to be a black/mixed race woman with a cropped 'fro. You're guaranteed to be in a commercial.

          This would be the budget phone of choice when there are sales...if it wasn't for the bezels!

                Phones half of that price have better protection

                      Mine has many scratches.

                          This is far worse deal than iphone 16e.
                          If you slap SD 8g2 inside Motorola G85, it would become years better than this.



                            Thick bezels (even symmetrical) and weak soc (G4) make this phone deal breaker. And the rumored Tensor G5 will give massive bump in performance and efficiency made from TSMC unlike G4 made from Samsung

                              Looks like a toy phone, they should of moved the camera to the up and to the left, then made it vertical. looks like its off balance.

                                This year the 'A' series Pixel is more irrelevant than ever. Pixel 8 can be found at around $500 (or even lower) in various markets, and is a much better device overall than 9a.
