I'm currently using the Edge 2024, the North American version of the Edge 50 Fusion, and I felt that the CPU was a bit lacking, so I was looking forward to the Edge 60 Fusion this time, but I'm very disappointed.
But I wonder if there's a chance that Motorola will only use Snapdragon for the North American version.
The Edge 2024 ( Edge 50 Fusion) has a good design, is light, and is waterproof and dustproof, etc. I'm satisfied with it.
However, I'm thinking of buying the new Galaxy A36 and using it as my main phone.

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2025S25 Ultra lacks all these.
Why still called premium? S25 Ultra has small bezels, a fast, flat display, and plenty of power. Plus versatility when it comes to focal lengths and good video quality across the board. It qualifies
Chipset power and photo quality might be bad but that's only because of how Samsung likes to nerf their devices, not the chipset and image sensors themselves, which you can get good results with in third-party camera apps.

Flat displays are premium in the sense that they offer more protection against drops. Curved displays are a gimmick that's prone to accidental touches and millimeters of wasted space.

Curved screen feels premium, Flat screen isn't, and feels cheap. Until there is no such thing as a “smartphone” anymore, this principle will continue to apply.

Anonymous, 20 Mar 2025Truly amazing that they are sticking with this silly name (... moreWell, they had to find and settle with a new name for their flagship series, and definitely not returning to the either Moto X or Moto Z series, both have been axed.

TheSnowWinterR7, 20 Mar 2025*Original Edge: has a waterfall display*
People: We hate w... morePeople here are annoying broken lads. Poor folks who cant only bark but wont buy anything worth talking about other than Samsung or Apple. And the "rebels" will pick up a chinese OEM, as if those are any better.
They never complained when Samsung had curved screens in all their flagships for half a decade. And same goes for Huawei/Honor when they did it in their flagships.
They just like complaining and hating on stuff they wont/cant buy. And since they never have used the damn product, they assume is lame or not useful.
Around the time the S7 came out, everyone started bashing metal unibody devices, because suddenly, glass (made of sand) was now "premium", even when said glass is cheaper to make.
Then, devices like the Redmi note 4 started getting hate for being "outdated" and not "premium" feeling. That bashing even reached midranges with plastic bodies (which have now come back, mind you), that then switched to metal/glass sandwhich, and now we are back to the original formula but no one complains.
Same thing happened with 3.5mm jack. When Apple did it, it was the worst crime in Earth. When Samsung did it, suddenly it was ok, and everyone else was wrong and earbuds were better than wired apparently to those same people. Same thing is happening with the microsd card slot as we speak.

*Original Edge: has a waterfall display*
People: We hate waterfall display, we want flat display!
*Motorola removed waterfall display in Edge 20/30 except 30 Ultra*
Same people: Why it is called Edge when there is no edge display on your series?
*Bringing the edge display again since Edge 40/50 to live up the name by Motorola, a compromise way between waterfall and flat display*
People: this sucks! Boo!
Please, it's exhausting to see this happened all the time, sigh...💀 Like I don't know how to react anymore why people like this lol.
