Galaxy A34 (as well A54) was promised 4 OS updates and 5 years of security patches, you can check Samsung's website for that fact of matter. Hypothetically speaking here, both the Galaxy A34 and A54's OS update only really ends with Android 17 and security patches in 2028, which still 2 OS and 3 years time ahead of its promised updates. I would understand if you said either the Galaxy A31 or A30, but A34? Really?

Also, actual real people hate OS updates because it's a big inconvenience and delay installing them for a long time. So less frequent updates is a big plus to most normal users. Only terminally online message board warriors count months for phone updates lmao.

here im rocking with moto g45 with android 15 update which i recieved Jan 2025.
i dont care about updates anymore....phone runs ultra fast even wihout updates.....

I find it funny how many people forget that the long-update-policy was a thing that started in 2021 with the Galaxy S21-line, the ones before that were lucky to get even 3 updates (S20 series are left to security updates only).
Samsung IS making good on their promises, people just seem to forget what the promises are.

Between Samsung heavy skin and services running all the time in the background even if not needed/used, and poor optimization, it destroyed the smooth feeling of the tablet.
It's so bad that it reminds me of TouchWiz days.
