        A bit out of context, but considering that ARM is a British company, what holds them to import the newer Cortex-cores?

            "Hardware info apps reveal a 12-core CPU, but that's because of hyperthreading; the chip has an 8-core processor. The breakdown is one 2.5 GHz Taishan Big core, three 2.15 GHz Taishan Mid ones and four 1.53 GHz Cortex-A510 cores.

            The top core might be the in-house Taishan, but the four small units are Arm-based Cortex-A510, which were developed and acquired before Huawei was added to the Entity List."

            Errr... no, the small cores are ALSO Taishan cores. Small Taishan in this case.
            Are in house small cores with Out of Order execution, making 50% better than the A510 cores with a little more power cost.

              2025 and still wondering why Huawei operates under it's original name and brand. Could outsource the mobile phone branch and have a deal with US. Not saying they need to. CPC supports them no matter what so they'll be fine I guess. Good luck.

                              Nice article. I believe this one along with the pixel fold are much better in terms of aspect ratios than the bar folds. I really hope this wide folds/flips aspect ratios become the mainstream.
