You can uninstall google stuff for your user with adb, and is quite easy once you get the "how to".

Or you tought, like all apple fanboys here, that google was spared? Actually change default browser in android is about 3 years old now😉, so yeah if anything, apple was spared for too long.

hope, soon we will be prompted to download every app including built-in system apps like clock, photo gallery, weather etc. at setup of new phone rather then deleting or disabling apps that user dont want on their phone eating storage and internet data.

that would be much better in interest of users.

Something fishy how about Google owning everything

                              nice

Great, now do the same to Android, especially to those manufacturers who keep shoving their own browser into my mouth (looking at you, Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, and OnePlus). I'm tired of having to uninstall Chrome and some random manufacturer's proprietary browser evertytime I got a new Android.

Meanwhile, Google still gets a free pass for forcing OEMs to pre-install Chrome if they want their devices to be certified.
I guess Google has the browsing history of those EU politicians. 🤭
