Sony announces WF-C710N truly wireless earbuds

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2025Because touch controls aren't great either for many. T... moreNah they're pretty great. It would be better if the sensitivity is adjustable. I've used the Moondrop Space Travel, since the thing sticks out with it's stalk design there's many mistaps.

The Sony WH1000XM4 and the KZ XTRA on the other hand are basically almost perfect because both of them have a shape that let's you pull the earbuds out or push it in without mistapping the controls. More so the Sony because it has that bronze microphone thing that you could use to push the earbud in instead of the touchpad and the KZ XTRA has a flat faceplate with a small touchpad.

      Lister, 28 Mar 2025because pushing eardbuds unto your ear canal is great, right? Because touch controls aren't great either for many. They are imprecise, triggered when you don't want and of course, each single one has a sequence to call an AI assistant, when you just wanted to pause a thing.

              just buy wired stuff. higher quality, cheaper, and they last much longer.

                They've done away with an actual button... that is a sad day for earbuds... I don't think the 90's clear plastic tech nostalgia makes up for it.

                  Galaxy Buds getting a new skin after so many years is pretty cool. But why did they name them Sony?

                    Sad to see physical button gone. This is why I bought 700N and could live with Linkbuds S. Touch interactios are rubbish.

                            In my book, I think more of it as a downgrade, and not so much is considered to be an upgrade with "The design has also been updated and now features touch sensitive controls instead of physical buttons."

                            Other than that, it looks like some nice earbuds.

                                  If the tuning isn't that bad, I might really consider these to maybe replace my Galaxy buds 2 since their batteries have kinda gone wacko. Galaxy buds 3 piss me off with their stem design
