Sony has announced the WF-C710N, a new pair of truly wireless earbuds that is the successor to the WF-C700N from two years ago.

The WF-C710N feature improved active noise cancellation thanks to the company's new Dual Noise Sensor technology that uses two microphones on the outside to filter noise. The design has also been updated and now features touch sensitive controls instead of physical buttons.

The WF-C710N have improved battery life over their predecessors. The new earbuds can play continuously for 8.5 hours, which is an hour more than before. Combined with the charge inside the case, you get a total play time of 30 hours, which is twice the duration of the C700N.

The WF-C710N will come in Pink, White, Black and a new Glass Blue with clear plastic shells for the earbuds and the charging case. They are priced at the same $120 as the C700N.

Sony has also announced new colors for the older WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 headphones. Both come in a new pastel pink shade while the WH-CH520 will also come in a pastel yellow. Prices remain same as before.

Because touch controls aren't great either for many. They are imprecise, triggered when you don't want and of course, each single one has a sequence to call an AI assistant, when you just wanted to pause a thing.

Except in this case, Sony really does make superior buds to their rivals.
