Thinness is really great because once you put a case on the phone, it feels just as thin as any other naked modern brick.

The ultra thin form factors of devices is understandable and can be marketed as a feature for foldables, but its pretty much useless when it is used on a slab smartphone. Still, its pretty comical that it was leaked that apple would begin developing an ultra thin phone several years ago, which was then promptly copied by Samsung. And although Samsung knew Apple's plans and knew how thin the device would be, they still failed to create a phone thinner than Apple's. It really goes to show how far Samsung has fallen when of all companies, Apple is being more innovative than them. Embarrassing

Bendgate/breakgate will be the "trend" when this is released considering the number of people I see with these things shoved in their pants pockets!

So many crying fanboys here cannot accept the fact that no one actually asks for this and it will ended up just the same as the Mini.
The only different is the Mini is actually useful.

So thin it brings memories of the very first Plus models... Now considering the titanium employed by Apple is much more about being light than sturdy I suspect it will bend.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2025Nobody. But that doesn't matter. Apple is pretty good... moreCounterpoints: Apple Lisa, Apple Newton, iPhone 5c, Apple Vision Pro. Arguably the Apple Homepod as well, although the mini seems to have decent sales.

DarlingYext, 26 Mar 2025This device will be the definition of form over functionality. It might be worth waiting for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, especially when you consider Apple's vision for 2027. The company is strategically holding back for two more years, aiming to unveil a groundbreaking device that will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the iPhone. This upcoming model is set to redefine what we expect from smartphones, with specifications and features that will leave the world in awe. Trust me, the future of iPhone is just around the corner, and it will be something truly extraordinary. I'm speaking from the future, where the iPhone revolution has already taken place. Patience is key everything will make sense when the iPhone 18 Pro Max finally arrives.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2025Don't be fooled by the iPhone Air ads, at the same pri... moreI would like to correct my previous statement: the iPhone Air will replace the iPhone Plus, priced between the regular model and the Pro series. Of course, it will feature several specification cuts, but its slim design could significantly boost sales, positioning it as a strong competitor to the Pro series.
The iPhone is clearly aiming to change the trend with the thinnest phones and specs that gradually improve over time. The focus seems to be more on quantity than quality, encouraging people to buy for the pride of owning something trendy. With a light, slim design and existing specs, Apple can still make big profits.
