Poco F7 Ultra arrives with Snapdragon 8 Elite, 2.5x tele camera and IP68 rating

The F6 Pro was only rated IP54. Also, this is the first tele camera on a Poco since the F2 Pro. Wireless charging is rare on Pocos too, but the Ultra has it.

Main camera is basically the same, the Poco has a slightly better telephoto but the s25 has a much better ultrawide and selfie cameras.

If the one on the F7 Ultra is the same just with 4 to 1 binning, then that‘s a bit of a weakness. I‘d prefer a 1220p display like the X7 Pro but with a better ultrawide.

In the EU the base 12gb 256gb model is €750 and it's €800 for the 512gb variant so the value will depend on the market

                      An almost fully features flagship for $649. That is pretty good in my opinion. The biggest omission compared to a regular flagship I could spot is no LTPO, which means battery life will be less than what it could be with the same battery size. Or put another way, the same phone with LTPO could have used a smaller battery (which reduces thickness and weight) to achieve the same battery life. But because 99% of phones are big and heavy anyway nowadays, I don’t see this as a glaring negative point for this phone.

                      What I would have been nice is if the F7 Pro got the same ultrawide and wireless charging. The tiny 8MP sensor and complete lack of wireless charging are more noticeable omissions that even flagships from several years ago had. And while the latest chip is nice because I think it is the most important component in a phone nowadays, the one from the previous gen generally seems like the most reasonable choice to me because the real flagships are all competing to get the latest chip. And those are phones where cost is much less of an issue, so Qualcomm can ask much more money for this chip and it will still be sold.
