I have a Switch and an Xbox. Our Switch is practically dead while Xbox is not. I asked my kids, they prefer the Xbox. My wife, same, even though she doesn't game. Once Xbox comes out with a portable, Switch 2 will only have sales due to Nintendo games.
Nintendo Switch is an inferior machine in every possible way (apart from portability). It's a horrid, weak machine with a terrible user interface and functionality and controllers (pro controller is fine though, the rest is not).

Anonymous, 29 Mar 2025The GameCube version of Tales of Symphonia is the best version.But that game was originally released for the GameCube and then ported to the PS2. Resident Evil 4 was also originally released for the GameCube, and the Xbox 360 version was and still is far superior, while the Wii and even Switch versions are horrible.

The N64 was fine, but Nintendo continued its graphical mediocrity and was eventually surpassed by PlayStation. Regardless, Xbox has been the most powerful console since the Xbox Classic in 2001.

If Nintendo fans weren't interested in other games, then there wouldn't even be ports of those games for Nintendo consoles in the first place. Nintendo ports have always been the worst, though; just look at the Wii version of Resident Evil 4.
