    2. Because only small amount of people cares about thinness? Majority of phone users that I met use a goddamn big case on their phone tho. Haven't met anyone who don't uses a phone case, except myself.

David 040882, 28 Mar 2025Well count me up on that 1% then. I literally supported you... moreMaybe this site could ban those 99% other comments where it is serious so that I would not have to not bother reading the rate instances where it is not a joke? Just a suggestion you know. After all, if I read these rules below the comment box, it says

Please no foul language, be polite and use common sense

Calling someone weak over wanting a lighter phone is not what I understand as polite. And while we‘re at it

No trolling - deliberately antagonizing other brand/model users

That is quite amazing that it is listed here, because around here it‘s common courtesy to personally attack people using a phone brand one doesn’t like, for example calling them sheep or braggers while disputing them having any technical knowledge.

NICE!!! If Honor uses an efficient chipset and their software optimisations are up to snuff, then this could have really good battery life.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2025What is there to enjoy about having 70% instead of 55% batt... moreI'll tell you an advantage

Longer battery life span the less depth of discharge the better the cycling and the longer the battery will last

So that 55% example will for example be 50% or less overtime

Next is the more this new type of battery chemistry is massive produced the better the quality and development over generations

It's just lazy behaviour to just scream marketing fluff

You knows what embarrassing about such a mindset when anyone researches battery history it's ultra difficult for new battery chemistry to actually survive or mature to mass production

This isn't like camera mega pixels batteries' chemistry is really difficult to do

And to just call it marketing fluff is some real ignorance

By the way Gionee M2017 was first with 7000 mAh as a non rugged phone.
Oukitel K10 from 2015 was first with 2GB ram 16GB disk space and a 10 000 mAh cell.

IpsDisplay, 28 Mar 2025Sigh my guys please don't even bother with this reason... moreWhat is there to enjoy about having 70% instead of 55% battery at the end of the day before plugging it in to charge? If the tech is truly so awesome, why does nobody use it to make a phone that is light enough to be held in one hand without discomfort? I‘ll tell you why, it‘s all a big marketing fluff with little improvement to actual gravimetric energy density, it just makes it possible to fit a bigger, heavier battery into the same thickness phone because the volumetric energy density is better. But that means the same thickness phone with a bigger batter will be heavier. So instead of thicker heavy phones, we have thinner heavy phones, and that brings very little progress in terms of ergonomics.

Honor doing Honorable things! That's cool! I guess 8000 mAH is sure possible. Let's see if it may become a great contender for the Galaxy A56

Hope it will be available in my region soon, because it recently became official brand in my region!

Also, how long are the update policy for midrange Honor phones?
