Samsung is no longer innovative... Already years ago they have been passed by Chinese brands in quality and innovation... Only trough heavy marketing they still are relevant... This device will be a brick again....

Senibo Milla, 29 Mar 2025What problem does this solve exactly !? It doesn't.
Early days yet so not going to dismiss or thumbs down
First in addition to the standard one fold close /open you add another fold in the opposite direction.

This is now at a different point as the screen closes short of the camera island but has a wider arc

Standard was 180 degrees, now a complete 360
Opening / closing the other way to 360 at a different point

they have to make this phone a special edition one for giveaways

It would be great if we would see a three-part 16:9 device that could fold BOTH as a G and a Z
(three 16:9 parts plus fold gives roughly 16:28 that is roughly 9:16)

Of what use will this be really? I'm trying to picture any useful use case. Maybe when 2 people are sitting across a table facing each other and want to view the same video while maintaining their sitting position? 🤔

this would get so scratched up so quickly

If the back of the panel is all cover and the 'inside' is all screen, I think I like this idea. If the glass and the folding edge are strong enough, you could leave it opened backwards and have a phone with an all around screen? Or closed up completely with a mini front facing screen.

Samsusguy, 29 Mar 2025Will this phone will be called a I-Fold? Nah that already exists. Pretty sure it also goes by the name Iphone 5S.

Honestly, I'm glad to see this. Any form of innovation is great to see.

None of the people arguing here have a foldable device 😂
