    Why they don't wanna make camera in back frame more square? It will look more elegant and modern in my opinion

      Periscope of older is imx650 , a 40MP 1/1.7" used by huawei previously. But cropped.

      Scamsung has not used zoom camera for over 10 years. When should use every year.

            Their design is the best. And the reason is because they chose ERGONOMIC first then design at a close second.
            1. NO punch holes / Island but little wider top and bottom bezels but I will choose this design ANY TIME OVER ANY HOLES / ISLANDS
            2, Dual front firing Quality Stereo speakers. BEST.
            3. Micro SD card slot. YES. PUT IN 2TB MICRO SD CARD!
            4. Side mounted fingerprint sensor which works the best and you only press once to unlock unlike most others where you have to
            press to wake phone and then scan fingerprint and most secure feature (unlike facial recognition)
            5. 3.5mm jack. (More options to select. BTW it's rumored that WALKMAN WILL BE INCORPORATED )
            6. Sim / micro sd tray which does not need an additional pin to insert to remove (save hassle and convenient. Ergonomics in play.)
            7. Water resistance. They are the pioneers.
            8. Thin body (they always try to design as slim as possible without compromising quality. It is called a mobile phone)
            9. Cool design. (Notice the tiny details eg tiny rough surface for better grip)
            10. Camera shutter button. (Pioneer , as well as their signature)

                I wish Sony were a significant player in the mobile phone market. Still, it's nice that they don't give up like LG.

                    Its funny to me how some 🤡 claim its a 10 year old design, while sony is the only one who doesnt look like 99% of the rest of smartphones.
                    Not sonys design is old, Apple and Samsungs design is old. Every damn phone has a punch hole, please tell me how innovative this is looking?😂 Redmagic without a punch hole is the only phone that really looks good and actually solved the problem, while your useless iphones and galaxys all look the same.
                    Especially apple looks worst. Instead of having just a terrible punch hole, they decided to sell a disadvantage as something good and not just have a punch hole but a whole mailbox on the upper screen😂

                    If sony wouldve gone the same way, THIS would be old and boring. Having no punch hole is just great design ans also having decent cameras on the back unlike most smartphones having helicopter landing zones on their back.

                    Sonys design is fantastic, but not every kiddo understands design. Sony and Red Magic are the only ones who stand out in the boring smartphone world. Just because not every average joe is running around with a Xperia doesnt mean it isnt good. Sheep thinking led to Smartphone producers being able to sell their customers boring iphones and galaxies in big numbers. Sony is doing it their own way and thats why i still buy their phones.

                          Still recognizable as a Sony Xperia, but I am disappointed they ditched the 21:1 aspect ratio since last year. That was undoubtedly a Sony Xperia thing that made the phones stand out from the masses.

                            Sony clearly has a disdainful attitude for modern design. Like a few minority here, they view top/bottom bezels as more superior over 'bezel-less' punch hole displays. I think it's a conscious design decision fueled by pride. They are proud of their design.

                            But of course, they must've earned massive revenue, either from sales or from their parent company, to engage in this pride.

Sony and Japanese in general have amazing technology but Sony have become a tad lazy with their designs. Can't say it's the Japanese are lazy because I can tell you they are some of the hardest working people on the planet. Do your research before making such silly comments

                                        What about Xperia 5 VII? Without it, the offer won't be as interesting. How much better will the camera be? Will it ever overtake Samsung, Apple Vivo?

                                        If 5 VII appears, hopefully it offers exactly the same as 1 VIInot less and less things from the big version. Wha about world availability, in the EU and the US? Will it be with telecommunications company ?
                                        Google Pixel is clearly cheaper and offers very nice/better photos.Pixels getting cheaper over time, it often goes on sale. Samsung, Huawei, Apple, Google offer phones and watches, but Sony has been doing nothing for years. Sony is disappearing in the smartphone market, people don't even remember that this company still exists.
