Expensive for the specs, but I doubt the people actually buying this will actually care.

Tranquillow, 06 Apr 2025Good luck unlocking their bootloaders thoOnePlus & Xiaomi is developer friendly

Unlocking Samsung bootloader is even harder
Need to wait for 60 days and using odin + original country sim card
So if you purchase the Samsung from other region, you can't unlock

              If you're a developer
This phone will give you android at the forefront seat

              Otherwise...
              Slow charging
              Exynos in different skin

justasmile, 06 Apr 2025OnePlus 13R, not to mention F7 Ultra, has already made this DOAGood luck unlocking their bootloaders tho

Somewhat decent if you're in the USA. Anyone that lives in a country where there's actual competition in the $300-$500 segment should avoid this like the plague.

I swear since the the bezels increased with the Pixel 8a, the 7a did not have that much bezel...

When you know there are devices out there like the Poco X7 Pro than run circles round the Pixel 9a for nearly half the price, it is hard to justify.

They've cut corners just about everywhere on the Pixel 9a, but given it an upper midrange/borderline flagship price tag. As with all non-Chinese phones lately, the price creep is surreal.

I actually really like most parts of this phone, but Google’s AI spam is a dealbreaker

Thick ass bezels, slow charger, garbage chipset

Wait 1-2 months and buy the Pixel 9 if you want but not this.
Me? waiting for the Pixel 10 Pro to see if it's finally worth it, if google finally puts a flagship soc in the pixel series...

OnePlus 13R, not to mention F7 Ultra, has already made this DOA

Koishi Komeiji, 06 Apr 2025so thicc bezel this is skippableThe side bezels of this are literally thicker than my old phone's — the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 — side bezels. It literally gets outdone by a 2017 mid-ranger, you cannot make this up.

                                  Bezels.. bezels everywhere.

On a serious note, the regular Pixel 9 is much worth getting since it's been heavily discounted at this point.

What a pathetic excuse for a device. Google at that price needs massive upgrades across the board, not whatever this pathetic 3rd-year-running version of the 7a (that also has thicker bezels than it). This would be a terrible device to recommend even above $350/£350, and even then it would be hard to recommend at that price.

I've been waiting for so long for such phone, small size, decent battery size, and most importantly, no ugly camera bumps from backside.

As professional worker man, I don't care about camera features that has AI and awesome quality, I hardly uses the camera twice a week to picture my kids.

Waiting it to reach Middle east.

I think that your money can be much better spent elsewhere. That's what I think of the Pixel 9a
