Pumpino, 05 Apr 2025A dodgy Chinese company? Surely not.Yes, It's not moral but we are talking about businesses here, when were they actually moral?
It's not like Korean, Taiwanese and Japanese companies can't do the same, they started the same way, by copying form the west.

"According to Samsung, BOE has consistently engaged in shady practices, including poaching key employees and colluding with companies in the Samsung Display supply chain to steal trade secrets."
One thing is stealing trade secrets, but It's Samsung's fault to pay so little that those key employees are willing to work for competition. Even If there was some agreement between Samsung and It's former employees about not working for the competition etc, that's a breach on the side of that employee not BOE and in my opinion, these agreements are also pretty shady practice.

"Samsung is now seeking relief that includes, but is not limited to, the potential loss of operating profit. The case will be heard in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas."
A court in USA? Samsung could have saved money on lawyers then, because BOE is Chinese and thanks to tariffs I doubt It's displays will be cheaper than Samsung ones or that It will build a factory in USA.

That's how they (BOE) can sell their stuff so cheap that even cheapskate Apple keeps coming back to them after being duped.
