Anyhow anybody sending nasty stuff via a chat app needs help, that is a real red flag for me.
(there is a difference in doing it private and doing it online, and chat apps fall for me under online)

I wouldn't chat with anyone who uses things like disappearing messages, in my view that's a red flag. If you have any kind of integrity, you won't mind people seeing that in chat. That includes my D picks, I'm proud of them.

From the area code. Also nothing is 100% private. Maybe it is and encrypts the number with that it is now just random or gibberish even when decrypted.

I remember seeing something like that years ago with something else, there was a tech that caused cameras to not see the image on screen as we did, while our eyes saw everything fine on the screen.
Cameras work different, for example they can see infrared light while we can not, so if you grab a tv remote and keep pressing thw buttons, while the sensor is in view of your camera, it will see a while light going on and off the moment you start pressing the buttons.
