I assume there was was no mention of a Z1 mini? It seems to have sunk without trace from all IFA discussions! So those waiting for a high spec 'mini' device are still waiting. Z1 looks very nice but it's undeniably large and heavy.

U Samdung trolls have no clue what its like to hold something of quality let alone have had the experience of viewing or listening to quality on all electronics...Welcome to Sony's world cos that's what they produce, quality with innovation and the trend setters....welcome back Sony can't wait to upgrade to this beast

The external lens are pointless as not one will carry them around all the time. If you are going to carry the lens, you might as well buy a dedicated camera with optical zoom.
No OIS and Xenon, which are critical components to a good camera.
Despite the early hype with Xenon flash, large sensor, it has failed to deliver. This is a poor execution for a 'camera phone'. The Nokia 1020 delivers a much better camera package in a much more compact size!

I own a Xperia Z and i really amused with the #bestofSony but now its even going to be better, this would be a great device, Sony is really good!

"Fan boys" ...
My first phone was in 97, it impressed me because not only could i make phone calls it had a loud speaker! An alcatel something tiny b and w screen then i bought a whole load of phones erricson, nokia 3110, 6210 finally got the snake game lol
But i've only been loyal with a company if they're doing things right soon as nokia got greedy i switched to sony k608i then later back to Nokia when they improved there game and stuck with them right until the e71 N85 ....And they started going backwards removing the GPU of newer devices ...
Sony and Samsung are rival companies sure... but why do we have to be? Use the device you like most, point is we are both using Android!!!!
(Do you see see samsung android users bashing samsung windows related threads?)
We're on the same side we use the same apps be an xperia z or a galaxy 2. So why fight? If auser likes thier screen that's all that matters .. i dislike the Z and galaxy s4 active due to lack of OLED so i'm happy on my sg3 but next upgrade may certainly be Sony if they offer better.... so what?
