Asher45, 07 Apr 2025Apple started production in India because India has PLI/Mak... moreNot disagreeing that iPhones are too expensive (especially the lower end models) but the Pros (which sell the most) are not far off from the competition and still cheaper than the flippity floppity plastic screen phones that Samsung and Oppo and Huawei are putting out. A Pro suddenly costing $1300 instead of $1000 would be a big problem for Apple and customers alike.

Minding the fact that rich want to get richer and use any situation to their own benefit, most probably some companies will try to raise the prices for anything.

Apple started production in India because India has PLI/Make In India incentives and regulations. Maybe Apple should consider some US production since the US is one of its largest markets. Either way. It won't matter. The price will do anything but go down. Perfect excuse for Apple to raise prices on their already overpriced hardware

[deleted post]Don't care, my Realme 7 Pro is run smoothly, no lag or whatever. And, iPhone 11 (Oops wrong one 🤦🏻♂️) iPhone 16e very fast and smooth. Whatever your choice is on you. Hope you are happy with it and don't care, periods 🙄
