Some will even go to 7,500 mAh, while mid-rangers with 8,000 mAh cells will become commonplace.

Besides screen resolution and high performance at peak (while not to many people play 24 hours a day 7 hours a week) everything else was the same back than with smartphones as it is now. And actually bluetooth was eating a lot more battery power than it is doing now, same with the wi-fi and DATA connections. The problem now is, that this phones are actually powering a lot of software garbage, from bloatware to constantly listening "spy.. " assistance and AI and other means of information theft. So yeah, the user was left with less battery, but now they incresed the battery so the user can get back to a day of use but with even more spying, lovely.

            That's absolutely amazing!

Finally, we're reaching M51 levels of battery size. Hopefully they also improve the software alongside the battery so we get 2 Ws for battery life.

Im just wondering if this means fast charging is being phased out. Hopefully not.

Nokia 808 Pu... morelarger OLED screens, higher res screens, phones as powerful as a laptop at peak speeds, always on data connection scanning for notifications from different stuff, cameras utilizing significant processing power for video and photos both. Don't forget constant bluetooth connection as well due to the ditching of the headphone jack.

Yeah, phones CAN last a whole week in ultra power saving mode nowadays with everything gimped out, but you're not gonna use it right?

So save your nostalgia for something else, longer battery life is extremely important.

better increase the max value of the battery size slider on Phone Finder

I don't know where the world is going.

Nokia 808 Pureview (4 inch AMOLED display) with a 1400 mah battery used to last 2 days, with active whatsapp and facebook giving notifications.
Even today, many action cameras have a 2-3 hour record time with batteries as small as just 900 mah.

Leave all examples, some iPhones are still managing a 2,xxx mah battery.

Why does Android need all this power, if they're managing a 2 day battery life?
What is happening behind the scene in an Android? It's suspicious.
Recently, Facebook shamelessly announced that they will track even offline users. Is there where this power is going?
