    The best I've seen in a long time was Realme 6i, the little bugger gave 186 hours (not a typo) of mixed use time, using just a 5000 mah battery, and a Mediatek G80 chipset, combined with a 720p+ display. You can check the gsmarena test.
    And still, I don't find many phones beating this score (except for a few mutant-like 10,000mah+, weird fat phones like Blackview, Ulephone, Doogee, etc).

    If Google were committed to the cause, a week long battery life is not a big deal with a modern big battery. Something like a new Android-Go version is needed for mass market.

Chips getting more and more power hungry and less efficient, top of the line chips at least. And 7000mha only will give max 1 day of use considering power hungry chips. You looking more towards 3 day max use, if you lucky. As soon as you include gaming or binge watching it will be as usual 2 days max with YouTube watching, 1 day or so if you gaming a lot. 1 week would be only possible on lower midrangers with old weak chips made on new manufacturing nodes. Which seams unrealistic. Who would want to own midrangers and expect to have weak old chip just to have 1 week battery life?

          High refresh rate was tested by gsmarena on phones, in one such test 120Hz gave 111 hours and 60Hz gave 114 hours. So, it's not a big difference, and now it's even going down to 0.

          High res in my opinion makes a difference only when the GPU is stressed, like in gaming situations, not in menus and all. Because 720p vs 1080p is twice the number of pixels, yet things didn't change so much for normal use phones.

          Which brings us to factors that affect it big time: screen size and brightness. Now, we're also seeing these 6000 nits peaking displays, so yes, requirements will increase.

                                  120w charging makes big battery unnecessary. You can charge from 0 to 90% in less than 30 minutes.
