At least with the current trend of being followed/watched by Google, Facebook, etc. The only way we can save more battery is by Google using their services to track us less.

      Apple, Samsung, Sony and Google "optimise" their phones by lowering the brightness, screen refresh rate and heavy thermal throttling which results in far lower performance. If you want that optimisation just use ultra power saving mode.

              I work from home so usually I just leave it to charge every once in a while, when I brush teeth or shower.
              5-10mim is enough to make it go from a 40% (after a day of running) to having enough to run another day. The 80w charging also helps, as if I shower it definitely reaches 100%

                i hope small phones will return someday with the improved battery capacity.

                                  Good to hear that there's finally a race on battery density, capacity and charging speed. Hopefully Samsung notices the competition is pulling ahead. I typically buy a new flagship annually but decided to skip the S25 Ultra as it wasn't a big enough improvement from the S24 Ultra and actually a downgrade in some areas. We'll see if the Fold 7 is a big enough improvement from the Fold 6 or I'll wait and see what the S26 Ultra has to offer. I would expect minimum 6000 mAh in a modern flagship in 2025.

Not even going offline or switching off your phone does anything, if that's a hint.

                                    Now time for some facts:-
                                    Go & check any review of a phone on GSMArena on which a battery test is run on 60 Hz instead of 120Hz, how much battery does it save? At best 3-4%. At worst, no difference.

                                    How about 720 vs 1080p vs 2K difference? How much did LG save on battery from V40 (small battery, 2K screen) to G8x (big battery, 1080p in single screen mode)? Go check, then come back to me. Even 720p low end phones don't last too long so your point is invalidated there.
                                    Do you even know GPUs are the ones bearing the extra pixels and not the display?
                                    And on basic tasks and home screen, how much load is on these modern GPUs, do you even know?

                                    SDR action cam, wth is that? Which nostalgia are you living in now? Strange thing for your age.
                                    You think only GoPro records in HD? Delusional, aren't you? How about choosing a Mi 2K video recorder or SJCAM 4K recorder as a 900-1010 mah example? World is bigger than just your GoPro, you just realised this.
