Despite hardware being years ahead of the usual suspects (Sammy, Goggles and Pineapple) the chinese is still lagging behind in terms of software support and optimization. Software is the last thing keeping them from flooding the western market.
          This and maybe the fear of ending like Huawei, a company that would undoubtedly be N°1 today if it wasn't for, well, if you're here you I'm sure you know.

            So we just get the z fold special or whatever it's called that they sell in china repackaged as the 7 with the newer chipset. Will still feel like a good upgrade compared with the 6 weeks get in the west but still feel like Samsung aren't really trying with the fold due to lack of competition. I also hate the cadence they are on with the fold. It's their most expensive phone but launches just before the next generation processors launch from Qualcomm and mediatek so you pay 2 grand for a phone with an out of date processor. I know they are still more than capable but just sucks your buying the world's most expensive phone when a month later you'll be able to get a realme that's 20-30% more powerful for a quarter of the price.

                            So opimization matters too, and chinese crapware OS is the reason they behind in terms of software and sales

                            And it will always be like that

                              idk who in their right mind would get Fold unless its thoroughly reinvented. Got myself Honor V3 last year and couldn't be happier.

                                        Guess not to special after a year..
