When you r... moreThe screen protector is there to keep the pieces of glass together AFTER it cracks, so it doesn't prevent cracking. It just prevents you messing up your fingers, or messing up your screen even more for that matter after you've managed to crack the screen.

When you remove the screen protector the phone is not shatter resistant anymore and cracks with ease. Gorilla glass 2 and 3 are much better. Go look at scratch tests also and you will see.

You know, that pixel contains 3 colours, which combined to create one unique colour which is required for picture or smth..
What i'm saying, is that you will never be able to define quality between fullHD resolution and 4k resolution, ON a fullHD screen.

gorilla glass is way better, what sony uses is TRASH! or they wouldn't need a screen protector. And if you remove it then the screen cracks with ease, if you keep it on then it scratches with ease.

looked at a few of the pics....now, quite disappointed with the "good level"(not close to great) of photo quality....it does not beat out s4, nokia, iphone5 in this area....can't see how sony can differentiate it mainly based on the camera...however, cpu is highest out there right now--great...its ip58?---unique..screen is on par with other flagship phones--okay....shape and style---different...how's the audio specs?is it clean and neutral like the S4 and iphone series?
overall, S4 and iphone5 still appear the best all around phones;one a compact powerhouse and the other, a multimedia station

Just downloaded these pictures. 8 MP shots look good with little noise but if there was a Xenon flash, it would have been great. 20.7 MP shots are real noisy. Video shakes are noticeable because of the lack of OIS. Even the year old Nokia 920 has OIS. Definitely, this phone is just another average camera phone and i can't see it beat Lumia 1020 ever. If you want the ultimate camera phone, go for Nokia Lumia 1020. Nothing comes close to it.

Microsoft and Apple can put whatever cam they like on their phones but i still would not consider buying one.

We are not interested in your num,ber of horizontal pixels, noone said they are 4 times as many! You are just ignorant and not understanding what you read.
And noone denied about the name "4k", thats irrelevant since the resolution is 4 times higher no matter where the name came from, you could call it "Extra Full Olga from Moscow" and still it would have 4x the resolution of Full HD . Stop smoking grandpas underwear and try to grasp the basic concepts.

weight:s4zoom>z1>1020 pic quality:1020>z1>s4zoom. Conclusion, zoom is rubbish. Z1 is good and way better than zoom. But if u want the best in this smartphone category and can afford it there's no question about which is d best, go 4 lumia 1020.
