Anonymous, 06 Sep 2013Indeed, looks quite bad.you must know how the photos and videos are taken before you can judge. i can easily make a S4 photo look bad by setting the wrong setting. so, the best is to test it yourself when it is available.

Ironically, when this company used to make cellphones they decided to change the brand of their tires to Nokian to avoid relations between product lines.

This phone still uses a cheap screen protector over the glass, what a piece of junk!
Sony too cheap to use gorilla glass? It was the same as the z, anti shatter crap screen protector over scratch resistant dragontail, if you remove the protector it cracks with ease, if you keep the protector on it scratches with ease.

Who in normal circumstances is going to be shooting in the full 21MP. I think the 8MP downsamples are more realistic for most people, and the extra sensor resolution surely also offers noise reduction advantages for downsampled images.

It takes five years for Nokia to create such an amazing technology Pureview.
Please Sony do more R&D before claiming the best camera phone. A cameraphone without Xenon flash?? I can't consider it. Leave Nokia, look at your own old Cybershot series high end phone. Don't they have Xenon flash? Nokia Lumia already has many advantages over Z1 camera. Much bigger sensor, OIS, mechanical shutter, xenon flash and the awesome Nokia Camera pro app.

Tbh a phone with 1080p (4 to 5 screen) is retarded, ppi and batery wise, i think 720p is more than enough.
but hell, im guessing i wont be getting a flagship mobile cpu in a 720p phone anytime soon ...

As for color accuracy both Sony and Nokia (I mean Lumia, not phones like N8/808) are known to boost saturation, contrast, sharpening etc so there's no winner here. This is still a great phone with a good camera, so if you like it, buy it and enjoy it.
