People like the design and the size, but are less keen on the price - there are plenty of mid-rangers that offer better hardware for the same amount of money.

    The users of this website sound like complete cheapskates. Obviously they want free stuff or whatever. Guys, you won't get a device as cool as #TeamPixel for 100 bucks, those prices are for garbage devices like Galaxys A0x, Infinix, Poco or whatever ;)

      Economies of scale, or lack of. Since Google is not selling the Pixel in many markets, they have less volume, and thus higher cost per unit.

      But Google doesn’t really care much about sales Pixel phones. It’s just a side hustle. And the price doesn’t matter much in many countries Google are selling it as people buying it under carrier contracts or subsidies.

        This is what iPhone should be priced. I hope apple taking notes from Google on this one .
