Whats flagship in compact body. Even base S25 could be called flagship in compact body and its not.
Having best CPU but mediocre at its best other specs does not make flagship device not at 1000+ eur pricing.
small, tiny phones are so useless because they lacks proper specs of proper flagships.

I would have thought that compact phones would sell better outside of China. Most Chinese people have huge phones from Xiaomi, etc. It's usually others craving smaller phones. It will probably sell poorly and Oppo will abandon the idea without even releasing the phones internationally.

Oppo's finally playing in the small phone arena with the Find X8s, which is good to see.
But let's be real, it's still playing catch-up. USB 2.0 and an old optical fingerprint sensor in 2025? Come on. Sure, the battery might last a bit longer, but that's likely offset by Oppo's optimization software compared to Samsung.
And all of that in a bit thicker, heavier package and about the same camera setup? Samsung's One UI 7 features and ecosystem still blow everyone else out of the water.
Nice try, Oppo, maybe next time you'll truly compete? Competition is good for us consumers, after all.

jiyen235, 10 Apr 2025they seem really cool but i am NOT a fan of the different c... moreOne advantage this has over X200 Pro Mini is same battery size at 8 grams less weight. The iPhone 16 (another 9 grams less) and Galaxy S25 (another 8 grams less) are even further ahead in that regard but they don’t have the camera hardware or battery hardware to match (image quality results and actual battery life being more nuanced). You may say what are a few grams, but they add up and in a handheld device can be noticeable. An iPhone SE 2 (148g) is significantly more comfortable to hold than an iPhone XS (177g), from experience, and with case + screen protector.

In the end you get a smartphone that either look like HUAWEI or APPLE I-PHONE no matter what brand you buy.you get Sharp corners with either a round camera bump or a square camera bump, all the creative designs that we used to identify different phone brands are long gone. Even the galaxy ultra has the same design, NOT COOL AT ALL :-(

jiyen235, 10 Apr 2025they seem really cool but i am NOT a fan of the different c... moreThe find x8s+ has the LYT600 for the periscope with F2.6 aperture whereas the OPPO find x8s gets a much smaller jn5 periscope with F2.8 aperture. The find x8s+ has a superior periscope especially indoors in indoor lighting it will perform much better.
