Report: foldable iPhone is a go for next year after Samsung Display solves the crease issue

The perfectionists at Apple didn't like the size of the creases on current foldable displays, which proved to be a roadblock for the project.

    Well, it's small, they don't even have to make it foldable, so the crease will be completely invisible. Problem solved.

      [deleted post]I am aware that's business, you didn't have to post the same comment three times. Though what I said still stands: they don't innovate, they wait for others to do it first, so that they can buy it readily-made.

        Excellent news. Solid state batteries are already expected to debut later this year on the ring. If Samsung can have them by 2026 for the Z8, 1+ Open might have company in their hiatus.

          That's called "business" in case you, as well, aren't aware of.

          And, yes, you know "exclusive" means a deal in which Apple pay more above standard pricings in exchange to "no other brands can use that product" and not even Samsung itself.

            Typical Apple, waiting for Samsung to innovate the hardware first, so that they can "buy" the idea and solution directly with no effort and research.

              Samsung, solving the crease for Apple ?
              Before even solving it on their own foldable ?
              They would be the laughing stock of tech, but hey maybe they already are.

                typical apple, not going through trial and errors like most companies do to minimise the crease (not sammy though, they've done nothing for the pas 5 years).

                    I’m thinking about it samsung never inovative to iphone sreen because iphone is about to sarifice agains samsung dinosaur tech

                      And Samsung will not use it for themselves.
                      Samsung will use a couple generations older tech instead.
