And to specify, Exynos variants from South Korea were becoming soft bricked, and the rollout still isn't live (at the time of writing), and the scheduling being rearranged, with devices being pushed further back than before.
And Samsung has already supported the Vulkan API for a very large amount of time, with official support rolling out with android 7, the One ui 7 update is really only integrating it at the system level for the UI and stuffs. They've had well over a year with access to android 15 and are the biggest android manufacturer in the world- they have the resources to get it done well and quickly, there's really no excuse for it. It's also worth mentioning that Google is making Vulkan the default graphics API for Android 16- Android 16 development also hasn't been seriously delayed like One UI 7, and is actually expected to arrive early.

It's common on Android devices to have a progressive rollout, especially for older devices.
And this is nothing compared to Apple's false advertising of its nonexistent "AI" features advertised on their very expensive devices. They even faced a federal lawsuit for that.
There is better fight to pick.

Unless Samsung brings 16gb ram and 1tb storage will keep my current phone. Not talking about regular one or ultra. Just improve the plus and will buy. Also won't be bad if they increase screen hz and resolution. And camera improvement. Battery is ok for me.

SShock, 16 Apr 2025I'd just like to get damn OneUI 7 already. The idiotic... moreIf you want this update this bad, well, if Samsung released it just weeks after the S25, millions of phones could have been bricked.
A 2 step release might have been better: first, A15 and some features, then the Vulkan transition. But they chose to release an all in one update, more substantial for the end user, worth the slight wait.
Don't bring Apple here, they can't even develop their advertised "AI" features and are removing some ads because it is literally false advertising. And they only have 20 very expensive devices to deal with.
Also : "Apple has been hit with a federal lawsuit claiming that the company's promotion of now-delayed Apple Intelligence features constituted false advertising and unfair competition."
While Samsung officially stated on March 18, 2025, that the One UI 7 rollout would begin in April and is currently being released on older devices, it is not a big deal.
Complain all you want, all of this was announced and executed as expected and they are back on track to release One UI 8, even sooner than expected.

Unfortunatelly they do, because of the software difference, and yes even many S24 series users switched making their 7 years of support all the more pointless.

What a way to defend a huge company, this is no longer a couple of months of delay, they are nearly an entire Android version update cycle behind, when the One UI 7 update hits most of their phones, it will be an outdated version of Android already.

Yes Plenty already have one ui 7 most had said without issues, then there's the ones that have it with bugs, then there is the other half the world yet to receive it at all

Again, a co... moreI'd just like to get damn OneUI 7 already. The idiotic "seeding" of updates, what a trademark of Samsung... One of worlds biggest mobile players and they release updates like they are running a single Dell computer with a quad core to serve the frigging updates. It's so god damn annoying. It's suppose to be "out" this week and it's almost Thursday and still nothing. I keep checking the updates manually and nothing there. On iPhone, if Apple says update is out on Monday, it'll ALWAYS be available on monday if you manually check for update.
Not to mention Samsung is lagging behind even with security updates now. They used to be the first to release them, often even before Google themselves. Now it's mid April and it's still on March security update. Not exactly why I bought Samsung back then just to now be horrendously slow at releasing EVERYTHING.
