The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Pro, here's what that means

16 April 2025
This is a new variation of the Dimensity 7300 chip - the same chip that is in the original CMF Phone 1.

S I R E, 16 Apr 2025Classic NOTHING. I was actually warming up to the CMF 1 ... moreI had the cmf (1) and it can run BGMI at 120 fps. The cmf (2) doing the same isn't surprising

Now whether it can maintain it is matter of debate but the option itself is there, and for most part runs fine at around 90 to 110 without issues

    Cmf phone 1 is better

5% performance gain does not justify the naming jumping from "1" to "2 Pro"

D7300 "Pro"? Oh well, Nothing to see here. Carry on...

The cmf 1 I had could run bgmi at 120 fps as well

              Nothing didn’t even try here.

nothing phone 2 and 2a were pretty good, cmf phone 1 was solid, but this is just sad.

2a is a good value but the rest of Nothing's phones is kind of mediocre. A slightly overclocked chip of the predecessor is not a good sign, i hope it can match the 2a in at least some more aspects than the CMF 1 while being cheaper.

Why not use a newer better processor? Are the only upgrades gonna be cameras? If so it seems they're becoming complacent

graphics settings appearing 120fps doesn't mean it will hold there, forget that, on a medium lobby it surely couldn't hold 60 fps for sure. Nothing cse continuously lies about their promise and review, I remember once he review some box content while other brands provide charger, case, screen protector got 4/6 out of 10 and nothing got 10 with a cable ofc. Really amazing marketing.

Hopefully the non-pro will come with snapdragon 6 gen 4 and with smaller display

                            Classic NOTHING.

I was actually warming up to the CMF 1 but this stunt is exactly why I hate the company. They come up with the most rotten marketing and way too many people eat it up like it's revolutionary.

CMF 1 was not modular, it's just extremely expensive olastic backa with a thumb screw.

Mainline nothing phones have nothing special except the placebo they've been feeding the market about software. Basic pre-requisites are not selling points.

This phone better be even cheaper than CMF 1 or come with usable specs and features like at least UFS 3.1 and Audio Jack and USB 3.x+

And no, I don't believe it could run BGMI at 120fps. It's so bad these days that even top tier Androids with 8 Elite and iPhones with A18 Pro can't sustain those frame rates. And 7300 can't run that game at 120fps lowest graphics even if they fixed the game completely.
