What's with M16 and F16? Both of them launched with OneUI 7. This is clearly an AI generated list with no assurance of a correct timeline.

Crow, 18 Apr 2025I think it's genuinely hilarious. People on this site ... moreAbsolutely! Samsung only want our money they deliberately delayed the update to greedily sell more of their 2025 phones, Android 15 is already 1 year old, it is useless even if they released after this, even companies like Oneplus with significantly cheaper price with comparable hardware has already about to release Android 16, while Samsung just collects money doing nothing

*shrug* when was the last time people actually needed a OS update, or has a OS update significantly gave an existing phone new magical abilities? Hint: not once in the last 15 years of android.
New upgrades has, on at least 3 occasions, broke half the apps that run fine on the older OS.

75% of android devices are using OS versions of at least 2 years old, and the world is still spinning.

Anonymous, 17 Apr 2025And by the end of July more Samsung devices will be on One ... moreIncorrect! Both the Pixel 6 and 7 series have been given 2 extra years of software support, meaning that the pixel 6 will be supported for a year longer than the s21. Pixel hasn't historically been a huge competitor to galaxy devices, but they've always been better at software support.

HopeFilledIdiot, 17 Apr 2025Come on man, you're just arguing in bad faith now. ... moreSamsung has never been good at update rollouts- Historically they have usually begun rollouts in November, sometimes being delayed to December, or possibly even January, however it's has typically taken between 6-8 months for their updates to reach all supported devices, and even longer for carrier models. They've been improving on this range, but this year that has obviously come at the cost of updates starting ridiculously late

By the time the S9 FE gets one UI 7.0, one ui 8 would be in its beta stages... why just why samsung

Thi is because latest samsung with one ui 7 sales is not good, they seems hold the update to force the sales, rather that give customer option to buy last year phone with one ui 7

This is a scheme to fool everyone. Samsung has been planning to release updates for 2 months but the update is not coming yet. 7 years of update guarantee has been given and we are still having to wait like this.

I think it's genuinely hilarious. People on this site are so quick to clown on ANY other phone brand. Yet, the second someone raises a valid complaint about a billion dollar company failing to deliver on a promise, people go insane trying to defend them.

Samsung only care about your money, not you. Same goes for any other brand.
The sooner we all start holding them accountable for these shortcomings, the better.

Any brand that isn't doing 7 years of os updates when the driver support is being provided free of charge is roadblocking the consumer for the sake of it.
