      This is the proper flagship of Realme GT 8 pro. Hopefully will stop using a 8mp ultrawide and increase major OS and security updates.

It's rumored to drop the 2k screen for a 1.5k one, while the Realme does the opposite, and it also won't have the 200mp periscope that the Realme is rumored to have.

                  They've got to increase their software support from 2+3 years of updates.

The majority of users don't use it or use it very rarely and anyone who cares about the ultrawide is not going to buy it anyway. Most people would rather have a very good main camera and very good periscope

                          if the gt8 pro is so good, what'll the Oneplus 14 do? Like seriously.. I dont see any reason for that to exist lmao

                          Unless they make it an Oppo Find X8 Pro with a larger main cam or something.

                          Like the GT7 Pro had an inferior main cam, UW cam AND a lower res screen. They're fixing the screen AND adding the best telephoto sensor in the industry, that'll easily make up for the other shortcomings, like the GT5 Pro's telephoto did.

                          Curious to see how it all pans out, the next year seems like the definitive "refinement" year of whatever we're seeing this year. This year was step one of them trying out different things : ultrasonic scanners, flat/micro curve screens, bigger batteries, different periscope styles/chroma cameras.
