Invetor, 6 hours agothe 101mm photos are surprisingly not bad but other than... moreThe main camera is smaller. Most probably the LYT700 or imx890. The telephoto will be much smaller and only 2x optical probably without OIS versus 3x optical on the Oneplus 13

    It's interesting that more of the flagship phones get the around 6.1 to 6.3 inch screens but still nothing for budget to middle class in that size. Seems like they finally understand that there is a market for the more compact in size phones. But for some reason they still dont understand the point of more compact size. As there is no need for flagship specs on these and especially the performance as gamers want larger screen and for rest you dont need that large of a screen.

Knowing how terribly priced Oneplus phones are in my country, it wouldn't matter to me if this never gets a global release.

              the 101mm photos are surprisingly not bad

              but other than that the camera samples are pretty alright by 2025 standards. I think the main and telephoto camera setups are the same as the big brother OnePlus 13.

              I wish the main camera was 35mm and the telephoto camera was about 70-85mm. Ultrawide is not missed - I'd rather use that budget and RnD on a better selfie camera.

              (I also kinda wish they opted for a Snapdargon 7 series or Dimensity 8000 series chipset to keep the price down. But this is OnePlus - they are a performance brand, so oh well....)

                - small; below 6.4 inch of screen
                - somehow 6000mAh battery
                - no Ultrawide but there's Telephoto
                - (rumored) blazing hot Snapdragon 8 Elite

                This one is an intriguing composition. Also if this one is thin and light than it's a BIG win.

                  Those photos look over-processed to oblivion.

                              Will be interesting to see how people justify this one not having an ultrawide and instead a useless 2x telephoto (useless because the main one is 50MP which means 12.5MP at 2x), making this camera setup barely more versatile than the iPhone 16e‘s. In an ideal world, the 16e had an additional ultrawide and this one had an ultrawide instead of the telephoto.

                                        What's the point of the 2x telephoto if the main camera can easily do in-sensor 2x zoom? Just to push you towards the higher end 13?
