              Well SD8+ gen 1 for 215 euro is pretty good with the rest of the phone specs. Sadly this wont be on so low price in Europe.

              At that price in Europe it would be best you can get as it's still a flagship chip and better then these 8s or 7+
              Maybe not for performance but for sure on all sorts of features support.
              That these 7+ and 8s dont support. Never mind that the 8s is kind of a joke with performance compared to what ever 8 gen 3 and 8 Elite
              All 8s feels like it should be 7+ Elite or something like that to fit better as seriously nerfed flagship chip

                You really can't say no optimistion

                For Context lithium iron phosphate batteries have an aggressive voltage drop at the last about 10-20%

                In practice sometimes you'll have a battery at 20% and within a few seconds the battery just drops to 0%

                Something that's unheard of from most smartphone experiences

                No soc optimisation from arm can address that.. its a different animal

                This voltage soc optimisation from honor just shows that they know exactly what they are doing and they are properly preparing for a new battery chemistry

                I didn't know these things till I got into the solar power Rabbit hole

                        If you dont care about perfomance 8+ gen 1 is still flagship soc you will get better modem, camera isp, WiFi etc.

                        But if you care for pefomance even undervolted 8+ gen 1 won't be more efficienct than likes of 7+ gen 3, 8s gen 3, 7 gen 3, 7s gen 3 etc.

                                      Didn't the Honor Power get announced with an 8000mAh battery last week? That's the biggest call Honor has put in their smartphones
