Samsung already working on One UI 8.5 for Galaxy S26 series

They're even late if they want to get it done before 2035. 🤣

    And I STILL haven't even got the damn OneUI 7. They run single potato server so they need 2 weeks to "seed" the updates. Absolutely ridiculous. It's so bad it's unlikely I'll buy any more Samsung phones. What an absolute joke of a company.

      Maybe here's a hint from a samsung user for 14 years - SORT OUT the humongous letdown of your customers this year over UI 7 FIRST! You do not have the dedicated follower base of Apple to screw over a willing customer base. Xiaomi, Oppo, Oneplus are all snapping at your heels in the Android space, you will be a loser long term as the Samsung infrastructure is not that strong!

Why did they delay one ui 8.0 because it was for the promotion of z fold 7Why is there an 8.5 update because they want to create a gap between previous OS updates and more sales turnover for Samsung flagship and midrange in 2026-2030. 2031 Hopefully Brand Tech companies will turn to the market New era Headset and GlassesAR/VR

          Why is the hurry we didn't even get One UI7 yet. hope it will be stable not buggy just to keep up with Google. now more Software updates should mean lighter & smaller to keep that promise or it's useless if we can't use it because it became laggy.

                considering how mediocre oneui 6 was compared to 5.1, i wonder how bad this one is going to be.

                The only reason oneui 7 was good and an "improvement" was felt only cus it brought parallel animations, like every other android phone of this year. Otherwise the UI appearance tweak is just childish and also iOS-like in loads of places. I find it funny that a few years ago people were saying other Chinese UIs look childish but now OneUI looks the most childish, so much for all their excuses.

                    Why not One UI 25H2 or Update 1,Service Pack 1 like with Windows PC?

                      Ah, I see the problem now, they are working on 7 years of OS updates, but they are doing all of them at the same time, so sometimes they get a bit confused on which version is which exactly and that's why there was a delay.

                        how about wan yuai 10? are they working on that too?

                          i'm still waiting for the one ui 7 on my Galaxy A35
