AnonD-157149, 09 Sep 2013tat fone in kitkat launch video shows htc, not lgWhere did u see HTC? It kinda looked like LG to me, even though it is hard to discern. But if by some chance it is HTC...i will be on my knees saying HALLELUYAH again and again and again. Since the N1, i have been longing for another HTC made Nexus. If giving another chance as Nexus OEM with today's specs...HTC will deliver us another MASTERPIECE device..they really need it. But it will likely be LG or Motorola and Sony as a long shot.

Rubbish. The pics accompanying the FCC filing show a completely different camera and flash configuration that the LG G2. It is, however, identical to the device that was accidentally(?) shown in the KitKat promo video with Nexus markings. Not saying that this proves that D820 is the Nexus 5 but it sure proves that is not a CDMA variant of LG G2.

So this version of the G2 will have a smaller screen and ship with KitKat? Somehow I doubt that.

I find that hard to believe...if it is a Verizon Device, how come it lacks Verizon's LTE bands on those charts. How come the device is said to have GSM pentaband HSPA+ for Tmo and Att? How come it has all those LTE bands for Tmobile, Att and Sprint? The back plate on those FCC docks matches those of the strange Nexus device on the KitKat unveiling video.

Now there is another device that passed thru same channels, the LG-D821 that is said to have Verizon LTE bands and rumored to be the Verizon N5 variant. So something is off here...WHY ALL THOSE GSM BANDS ON A VERIZON DEVICE THAT LACKS VERIZON LTE BANDS???? I think the D820 might be the Nexus if LG is indeed the OEM.

Is there any reason why LG is taking so long to release (or even announce the release) of a device they presented over a month ago? Or was G2 just an LG prototype/concept device?

But the leaked backplate doesn't even match the G2's back.. D820's camera was to the side, G2 has it in the centre..

See? I was right. The next Nexus phone will probably be manufactured by non other than Google itself- Motorola.
