Galaxy Z Fold7 rumored to be even thinner than expected, Z Flip7 to have a larger battery

The Z Fold7 will be thinner than even the Z Fold Special Edition, but how much thinner is a matter of some debate.

    The Z Folds biggest sales were in 2022 and 2023. Most of those people held onto their Z3 and Z4's because they wanted bigger changes. This is the change they wanted so I expect the Z7 will outsell prior Z's and continue to be the best selling book fold globally. That is until the ifold comes along.

    Personally, I'm fine with my Z6. I prefer the smaller aspect ratio, I don't expect a larger battery until the Z8 and I'm trying to be disciplined and upgrade every 2 years instead of yearly.

          Fold 4 is $1.1k. Make a $1.1k Fold 7 FE with Snap 8 gen 1. $900 fold with Sn 7. Its been 7 years now, give us fold with mid tier chipset.

            Still incomparable to Chinese foldables. No SIC battery=obsolete at launch.

                          World gone crazy mad insane into thin phones phenomenom. Do they nobody told us about durability issues and possible bend gate problem???

                            9-9.5mm is perfectly manageable. 8.2mm information source doesn't sound reliable yet. I hope they put a si-c battery to get 5000mah despite the thinness.

                                it took samsung this long to make a decently thin foldable, if there's no oppo vivo or huwaei, samsung would still making a thick ass foldable.

                                      No way, if that's the case and if there's any good trade-in deal, I might finally be able to try a nice somewhat usable foldable phone !
                                      And also, if it is still strong enough, we'll see !

                                        King-Miracle, 25 Apr 2025Lol. Samsung has never had the best cameras. 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧. Maybe not the best camera for "expert photographers", but for most people, it's pretty good, with a good set of features on its flagship and amazing computational photography algorithm (not as good as Pixels).
                                        Take a look at the 2024 MKBHD blind smartphone camera test, Samsung is in fifth place. But this is now kinda old.
