Tizen was Linux, just like Android, but still had it's very own development sdk. It wasn't worth developing it further, it was too costly and ultimately good, but limited in terms of what could be added in the future. There's a reason why they swapped.

It's called competition, you can't justify google's monopolistic moves.

I hope there will be a glycemic feature!

Which makes sense. They're meant to last longer, they cost a lot more. It makes very little sense to release all variations every year, with minimal technology changes. The gadget blogosphere is obviously trying their hardest to deny the sanity in this, because that would mean they'd agree the elephant in the room is a cynical fraud.

Funny because we just hit full circle. If the design aint broken, just dont change it.

samsung has a 2 year cycle of classic and ultra models. expect a classic this year and a new ultra next year. however, they ditched wireless charging last year due to the new sensor. I hope they squeeze it this time.

I am still using the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47 mm!The "Ultra" doesn't worth the extra money,no rotating bezel and plus so bulky!

Huawei Watch GT2 for example DID have a 14 day battery life, but that was actually a fitness band in a smartwatch form-factor, while GT3 was a proper smartwatch and the battery life dropped to like 3 days.

This is not news nor surprising as Samsung returns the rotating bit every other year.

they should've never sold their tizen watch os to google, samsung is just a sellout

Samsung tosses a coin every year for this bezel.

It would be nice if Samsung improved the battery performance of their watches. To have them last at least 15 days. Nobody wants a watch that needs to be charged every day or two. If Huawei and Garmin can make a watch with a battery that lasts over 20 days, surely Samsung can too, or does it seem like they can't?
