I use samsung but, i like competition and using different brands if any good. However, chinese brands literally spend no effort for selling elsewhere. Well, US ban exists and that is 1 country less then the rest 200. I assume chinese brands have an agreement with samsung and apple for not selling their phones in global markets. So, there will never be a competition.

N... moreThe answer is in poorer countries where lower middle class people want to show off their wealth by buying expensive phones that they can't afford. I know 4 guys who own S series phones and 2 guys who own iphones. Only 3 of them are rich enough to afford it. This is in india btw. It might seem too stupid but also alot of people would rather pay extra money rather than risk being inconvenienced for a while. They would rather pay the money than have something disturb their lives (like say looking into the specs of the phones, asking themselves what they want, etc.)

It's not going to live that long though. Soon enough people will realise there are alternatives and make smarter decisions than buying supercomputer phones for taking calls

For a person looking for a new device no matter how old their current one is, the current generation and likely last year's model will both be available to purchase as well. Why get the newest one when it's basically the same as the one from a year ago, just a bit faster?

There should be improvements every year, otherwise there is no point in launching a successor to a device every year.

You hear these messages again and again every few months. New sales and turnover records. I always ask myself, where? When I look around me in the city, on the bus or on excursions, it feels like everyone has an iPhone.

There were a lot of good deals at the S25 launch, depending on where you live.

I had to get a base S25, 256GB, for just 599€ no trade-in at preorder (with free Buds 3) because my bulky Pixel was running hot / throttling and had connectivity issues.
And I couldn't stand the optical fingerprint scanner, it flash blind me at night.

Very happy with this purchase, it's miles better than my old bulky Pixel.

Who remembers when Gsm arena reported that Samsung are cancelling the s26

Many tech reviewers have criticized Samsung for the Galaxy S25 series, saying it's too boring and not evolving.

However, many people don't replace their phones every year like geeks do, and Samsung seems to have more or less proven that.

This is why I don't trust cell phone reviewers.

Does anyone else smell that? I sense deception in the air.

Watch out the profit. Revenhe jncreased 10 percent, profit increased only 1.5 percent. İf you include inflation, Samsung is getting worse in terms of finance.

Anonymous, 30 Apr 2025Dont worry the samsung haters are crying in all the comment... moreI have several Galaxy S phones, and some other premium phones from other brands. I'm surely not a hater - but Samsung phones DO have problems, the ridiculous prices being one of them.

Samsung in General not Samsung Mobile. Samsung doesn't have sales in smartphones in particular. TVs have a bug improvement but other than than chipsets and smartphones are dropping.

BS. We hear this propaganda for shareholders every year.

Stuff a silicon carbon battery in your upcoming smartphones for 2026 and revisits the profits again to see something.

TechCasual, 30 Apr 2025Where are the chinese fanboys and haters? Are people really supposed to be happy about a company making a 3 billion dollar profit on them? Good for Samsung, and I'm sure they are happy about it, but I don't see that as anything to celebrate about, and I would say the same if it was any other company as well.
