...the irony, the first thing some buyers will look after buying is a rugged case...

jiyen235, 02 May 2025>heavier than the s25 lmao even if it's thin, it... moreIts sales will be a kind of statistic about the number of stupid people in the world. The same as the number of people who voted for Trump in the US.

If it were this thin and had a big battery that would be innovative and maybe worth the price. But it doesn’t so it’s not!

Still ultra overpriced no matter how many times it leaks with those below par specs.

Mark my words this Edge series will be a total flop of the year.
Noboby wants to shave a few mm for a smaller battery even 4000Mah and shetty cameras. it is a disgrace in 2025 as they are still using old battery tech from 5ys ago lol an reusing the same old 200Mp from 2 years ago.
If Samsung is trying to create new product interest for a change instead of busy copying Apple Air slim fone, then I suggest that instead of copycat why not create a proper NEW Note Series with 7.2inch and 8000Mah battery wider 18.5:9 aspect ratio (less blackbar when watching videos and much larger screen than even the the Fragile foldables that are just useless as actual viewable screens usage is much less because of the weird Aspect Ratio. It will bring back my sweet memories of the my much loved true Phablet Huawei Mate 20x the best fone I ever own period and I own the last 3 Samsung S22,23,24 Ultra for the record, but not wasting my time on S25Ultra as it is just going downhill with the S series and nothing Ultra about it anymore, The cameras and even display tech are last generations, so is the 5 yr old battery of 5000Mah is a joke in 2025 midrangers have 8000Mah. It does not even deserve to be called an Ultra anymore.
This Edge is even worse than the ultra for similar price so which real person would actually buy this Edge... seriously 🤣🤣🤣

this trend about making device stupid thin is useless... 3900mAh in a big phone, with SD 8 Elite. The battery life is going to suck

I will definitely wait for reviews before making it a potential upgrade candidate.

I thought we collectively decided ultra thin electronics, especially smartphones, was a bad idea after the whole bending iPhone thingy years ago?

Strawhat, 02 May 2025Silicon Carbon battery?dont worry, they will do it when apple does it in 2028 and call it innovation.

I just hope this survives Jerry's durability test. A phone this thin normally doesn't survive the bend test at all.
Also, innovation in battery is much more needed than AI stuff that are only renamed and recycled tbh.

The battery life will be concerning. It’s smaller than the regular S25 but with a larger screen. I’m guessing endurance wise would be similar to the Flip6?

just make compact phones like oneplus 13s/t, with large battery, good enough cameras, and a compact screen. ive never seen someone say i want the cameras of s25 in a 6.7inch screen but with the price of ultra. most people prefer good 6.3-6.5 phones, than 6.7 thin phones with worse cameras and 3900mah battery.

Should focus on light weight more than thickness. Moto Edge 30, 155g, 6.8mm, 4020 mAh, $300. S25 Edge 3900 mAh, 163g, 5.8mm, $1200

>heavier than the s25
lmao even if it's thin, it's not light. The main camera seems to be a good choice tho so it's worth it. Just wondering who's actually gonna buy it at this horrendous price.

Jesus F Christ the price... It seems like phones are getting PC parts treatment - more and more becoming unaffordable and unapproachable for marginal improvements...
