in other words they will add bunch of junk bloatware 'brand' apps you cannot uninstall. Then you have to waste more time to find and install all the Google apps every other phone has already.

Microsoft... more"I AM AMAZED THAT PEOPLE COMPARE MICROSOFT OS ENDEAVOUR TO HUAWEI"
They don't want us to try/sided with Huawei/China
So, this is their way to discourage us. Which is in here you can see
1. Microsoft failed, in the past many failed, so it will failed
2. It's China, don't trust it
3. China quality is bad, even their skin is bad

These Chinese manufacturers, besides OnePlus and Motorola, don't sell in the US anyway, and OnePlus doesn't sell all its phones either. They're not carrier phones.

Microsoft's independence stops at the business level
China has political weather for years, trade wars where the need of independence is nationwide
And Huawei has allies that will work with them
China has an EV ecosystem running on software that can adopt harmony
China has a Techno economy, where Microsoft OS ambitions scale ended with smartphone adoption
Microsoft had America that is nowhere near technological ingrained even to this day compared to china
I AM AMAZED THAT PEOPLE COMPARE MICROSOFT OS ENDEAVOUR TO HUAWEI
It absolutely baffles me they put them in the same category
In democracies popularity and capitalism rule
But in China's system popularity of an idea or project is irrelevant a government can support an unpopular concept to full maturity without typical capitalism shareholders, govt contract manipulation circus show

An android without Google's services would be great. What they should do is what was said before: allow us to uninstall any app, install any OS compatible, like Pixels. Support some independent stores like Aurora and everything will be fine
Xiaomi had the Phone and Messages apps, better than what Americans provided then. Now it's impossible to install them.

Many are already only focusing on one platform, and only consider supporting both platforms when they’re big enough. Supporting a third platform with questionable market share would be out of reach for many devs. Microsoft couldn’t even do it. How these Chinese OEMs who couldn’t even make a bug free Android skin, can?"
While I agree with the fact that Developer have limited time and capital.
I like to point out that you're thinking that Chinese can't make "bug free Android skin" is the one that make you're not able to understand what's going on.

You're expecting Huawei to produce OS in 1-2 years? The pure HarmonyOS just arrived last year!!!
And HarmonyOS is only available in China, so it's natural that outside China, no HarmonyApp.
