PureOS, 03 May 2025They put tariffs to the world for import, not the opposite. ... moreDoesn't matter either way. If you hate it but still want to play their games, you get the Game Pass (that somehow wasn't increased 👀), and they still make profit.
It's all marketing.

Cakeplayz, 03 May 2025Microsoft is so greedy Microsoft is greedy, but Nintendo is the one who normalized $80 and takes greed to another level.

Lister, 03 May 2025The Facepalm opinions below.
Xbox's are mostly mad... moreThat should only affect products sold in the USA but Microsoft being extra greedy started charging it worldwide.
Even if they don't sell as many consoles as they used to, they still sell lots of controllers.

Xbox's are mostly made in China. Blame Trump and his tariffs.

They put tariffs to the world for import, not the opposite. And still they are rising prices for global markets. This is nonsense. Hope that they will sell 0 products.

Microsoft blames tariffs. Your government ( USA ) gives tariffs to the whole world, not the opposite. They put tariffs for import and guess what, higher prices for global markets. This is nonsense. World should boycott every USA product.

Cakeplayz, 03 May 2025Microsoft is so greedy And it doesn't do them any favours. The Xbox One reveal at E3 ruined consumers' perception of their brand and made them sell less than they could've sold. The Xbox Series X and S have sold very poorly and have little to no presence in many regions. In fact, they're not even on shelves in places like the Middle East or Central Asia nowadays, even though the Series S is a cheaper model that could do pretty well in more budget-conscious countries. Bad PR stemming from greed and a lack of exclusive titles has spelled the inevitable death of Microsoft's console division.
Without their greed, the browser market similarly may have been very different. Yes, they had huge market share with Internet Explorer, but it annoyed people so much with how they forced it onto them that people began actively using anything that wasn't IE. Their stranglehold wasn't doable long-term and put them in a worse position than if they hadn't done it.
Obviously most people aren't doing this, but Windows updates with anti-features that exist due to greed have also greatly driven adoption of Linux, and the cost of Windows licences and MS Office licences is also why Chromebooks became popular for schools and education institutions.

Its ok, I have my favorite games from 2000s downloaded and can play them whenever I want :> new games are underwhelming anyway
