Well, this comes as a surprise to no one – Apple just announced the iPhone 5c. It's the more affordable of the two iPhones that debuted today. The smartphone lived up to the numerous leaks, combining iPhone 5 internals with a plastic outer shell that comes in a number of bright colors.

Dang, I expect iPhone 5c is way cheaper than iPhone 5s when it release, at lease 150 to 200 $ cheaper. But iPhone 5c got the same spec as iPhone 5 with the cheaper plastic body. iPhone 5c 16Gb= 549$; iPhone 5s 16 Gb= 649$. So just keep my iPhone 5 still better and wait for iPhone 6 or just switch to Nokia Lumia 1520 or Sony Xperia Z1 instead.

Oops I had an impression that unlike Samsung (who spends 0 for R & D and spend millions on spies) Apple wont copy things from others. Well this is very very similar to the Lovely Low-mid Lumia's......

Rough. I don't get how this is supposed to sell in emerging markets. Even the iPhone 4 is $450. Good luck selling that in emerging markets.

disappointment at this price point - simply makes no sence, I expected 4s internals into a plastic shell priced at 350$ which would have been a killer.
Anyway some people would probably still buy it for their kids, or dogs..
I've had the 4, 4s and 5 and after some water damage now have been using my ancient 3gs, i can't really say i miss the 5 at all. 4s does it for me for both speed and camera so that remains the best buy from apple's line of phones even today, make no mistake about it.
