It brings some decent improvements compared to its predecessor.

They just go strong with g75 and 5/6 years update policy, and then we got this. Not to mention awful 4gb ram variant in 2025.

That is a big phone. I'm hoping with silicon batteries we can return to smaller phone options.

yjfoeg, 16 hours agoAny SOCs below Dimensity 7200 is useless. This is a G56, ... moreNot more than your opinion 🤣😂🤣😂

motorola just killing themselves with these awful "upgrades" if there's even any

I am using moto g41 with amoled for 3 year. No issue in AMOLED if you are use properly.

Since there is no remaining software update cycle, my phone is ok.

In budget phone amoled is not a problem.

BTW Dimensity 7060 is just an overclocked Dimensity 7025 (by 100MHz if I remember correctly)

Will also be adopted by Infinix on Hot 60 series phones

That 4GB of RAM variant is unacceptable in 2025, especially because Google has announced that the minimum RAM amount for Android 16 will be 6GB and Motorola clearly knows that, that's why the 8GB variant exists. They should've made the other variant with 6GB of RAM, but best would've been to just have an 8GB version.

However it seems like the 4GB variant will still get an OS update, so it's likely going to get downgraded to Android 16 Go from Android 15.

                  This is a G56, not G36...

Restricting updates to the variant with more RAM is disgraceful. Motorola would be charging more for that already, and then it will have one extra major update and one extra year of patches that could be rolled out to the cheaper variant.

I'm disappointed, it's only a downgraded G75. The G54 was very good few years ago, now this range is just the shadow of itself.
