I meant that if your phone is not plugged into the charger overnight, you will only lose 2-3 percent of the battery. Which means that it will only have to be recharged by 2-3 percent, which does not lead to any decrease in the number of cycles. But if you play games all day and you have the phone plugged into the charger all day to charge up to 80 percent - then the situation is different.

YUKI93, 13 hours agoSuch specs should be on a tablet or a laptop, not a smartphone.Cope bruh. Battery size increase is inevitable. Remember when 3000mah was considered flagship grade?

jiyen235, 13 hours agooh yeah but still, i dont think it's gonna be that bad... moreBut keeping it on the charger all night and at 80 percent is not the same as loading it with a game during the same time. Even if it's not on the charger for the whole night, my battery drops by about 1 to 2 percent.
I agree that it's much better to keep it at 80 percent max if you're going to use it on the charger for a long time. Moreover, it's much easier to give off heat as a result of small short charges instead of everything at once.
It just might be better. There are situations in which you have to use the phone non-stop, but I want to save the battery during that time. For example, you're traveling for a few hours and you've turned on Android Auto, or you're a taxi driver and you're playing something in the background to listen to/watch while waiting for customers, etc., etc. The battery just doesn't need to be involved all that time.

kdss, 13 hours agoI'll try to simplify the explanation. 1 cycle of a bat... moreoh yeah but still, i dont think it's gonna be that bad considering the the last 15-20% is the real trouble maker.
I think what happens is that the phone is charged to 80% and then if the charger is connected, the charger's power is used to power the phone, yk like bypass charging. Battery health apps show that my phone is doing quite well in terms of cycles despite keeping my phone on the charger for a whole night at 80%, so your theory is wrong i think.
At the end of the day we may never know, it's best to just use your phone normally. I tried keeping it at 80% but it didnt really change too much, batteries degrade nonetheless sadly.

jiyen235, 14 hours agoidk what exactly you're saying here but i think someth... moreI'll try to simplify the explanation. 1 cycle of a battery is to charge it from zero to 100 percent. Or 5 times at 20 percent. Or 10 times at 10 percent. If the battery is charged to 80 percent, then energy is consumed from it and then recharged again to 80 percent, then you still lose 1 cycle of life, only instead of charging it at once it will be charged 100 times at 1 percent.
However, if you charge the battery to 80 percent and then disconnect it completely from the circuit and consume only from the adapter, then you have lost only 0.8 cycle.

Anonymous, 15 hours agoThe 320 watts are needed to keep the charging speed at the ... moreThere will be not only one cell battery I have two cell batt phone and 80W charger so split 40W/40W that doesn't mean exact amount of 40W goes to cell... it constantly varies as it is continuous
That's why I presumed that this 10K battery concept will be split to 4 cells...
So even charger is 320 each cell will receive up to 50W or 60W
splitter will work but not in flash charge mut in older fast charge or only quick charge...
It is same as ordinary power bank 10000 is with 4 batteries..

In worst case all 5 phones get 10-15 watts all together which means only 2-3 watts for each.
