        Candybar phones could fold vertically for a way now useful screen area. I don't get having a wide screen that's only book-size height and impossible to hold. The fold paradigm is still wrong for actual use.

          If you have the money, there is almost no reason to buy the S25 Edge. This is a foldable that's insanely slim as well and you'll get so much more.

            I'll be glad when this device type is retired. It's not practical and the cost isn't worth the opportunity costs

The only new battery technology Samsung has that I know of is an all solid state battery and a Silicon Carbon Nano-composite battery. This may not be a normal 4400mah battery.

              2) 2025 is projected to be a slow year for foldables. 2026 is expected to be a turnaround. One year won't hurt. Z6 sales already outsold the Z5 after a slow start. Z7 will do better.

                The Oppo Find N5 is the latest foldable from Oppo, which this'll directly compete against.

                  If oppo released n3 globally, we would see a better fold6. Chinese have to play global,otherwise they have no competitive power to push Samsung.

                      I didn't see this combo for a long time in the budget phones and now samsung repeat it in a flagship foldable phone which is supposed to be even more expensive than s25 ultra, what are they smoking 😭

                        All these innovations are brought to a naught if the battery capacity remains the same. Even flip phones now have up to 4700mAh.
