                    So basically a French brand, owned by a Finnish company, used by a Chinese company, and made by a subsidiary of an Indian company.

                      So Padget Electronic will make it for NxtCell and they will sell it as Alcatel?
                      Where is Alxatel here in this equation?
                      Just more of the same ewaste ither brands are selling just under a different name

                      Really sad what the industry has become

                      Also V3? For a new start? You think they would go with 1 or 0. Somebody is smoking something there

                            I bought an Alcatel One touch+ and it served me well.The camera was great and lovely macro photos.Realy good

                                  Well he was for a very long time president of a Realme so this Alcatel will be definitely somethng.
                                  Madhaw Sheth is person who turns ordinary and common things into unique masterpieces.
                                  This going to be same.
                                  Wish he could revive Nokia brand too.

                                    I so wanted this to be good, but it's clearly just going to be a rebranded TCL 50 XL NxtPaper, or a TCL 50 NxtPaper, maybe the Pro variant of the latter, but that's about it. Another "new" device not worthy of the Ultra name, not even worthy of the Alcatel name. Sad.

                                      I believe Madhav Seth (Alcatel India) is targeting the wrong place. Where he is the CEO of Honor India and Alcatel in this discussion? These brands don’t seem to understand the Indian market, where competitors like BBK (Oppo, Realme, Vivo), Motorola, Nothing, and Xiaomi dominate the budget and mid-range segments.

                                      Honor and Alcatel primarily focus on the Middle Eastern and European markets, where they sell phones with mediocre chipsets and build quality at premium prices.

                                      Unless Honor changes its market strategy to align with Indian consumers' needs, it will continue to struggle here.

                                        Born in France, now in India. Now that's just a sad change, it's already clear they will produce basic phones with confusing spec sheets like every other Indian brand
